Ninja, written and directed by Murugu, has commenced shooting. The film is produced by S. Sai Devanand and K. S. Sinish under the banners of Soldiers’ Factory and Learn and Teach Production.
G. V. Prakash Kumar plays the lead role. He was initially onboard as the music composer before taking on the acting part. Sean Roldan is composing the music. Prarthana (seen in Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil, Love Today and Parking) plays the female lead.
The film is described as a romantic comedy and family entertainer. Shooting began on August 24 in Thanjavur with a traditional pooja ceremony held at Sripathy Cinemas. The first schedule is planned for 20 days.
The cast also includes Jenson Diwakar, Radha Ravi, Dheepa Ramanujam, Devadarshini and Kalyani Natarajan.
The technical team comprises Harish Kannan (cinematography), Ganesh Siva (editing), Gopi Anand (art direction), Priya Ravi (costume design) and Dinesh Kaasi (stunt direction).
K. S. Sinish previously produced the National Award-winning film Parking and is also producing Superhero starring Arjun Das and Sandy. Learn and Teach Production was earlier associated with Vettuvam.
