‘Dhayam’ holds the life of eight Youngsters : Kannan Rangaswamy. “We may throw the ‘Dhayam’ (Dice), but it is the God who determines how they fall…” No one would have crossed our Childhood without playing ‘Dhayam’ (Dice). The value on the ‘Dhayam’ (Dice) decides our success path in the game. By keeping that much powerful name as title, ‘Dhayam’ the upcoming Horror-Suspense-Thriller is all set to play dice in the life of eight characters. Produced by ARS sunder under the banner ‘Future Film Factory International’ and Co-Produced by P.Thiru, the film ‘Dhayam’ is directed by debutante Kannan Rangaswamy (Artistry Short film Maker). For the very first time in the history of Indian Cinema, the whole story of ‘Dhayam’ has been shot in a single room.
The film ‘Dhayam’ has Santosh Pratap of ‘Kadhai, Thiraikadhai, Vasanam, Iyakkam’ fame and new face Aira Aggarwal in the lead roles. It is a must to say that, ‘Dhayam’ is very well built with a bunch of talented technicians that includes Cinematographer Baagii (Associate of Nirav Shah), Music Director Satish Selvam (Introducing), Editor Sudharshan (Zero), Art Director Vinoth Rajkumar (Urumeen, Oru Pakka Kathai), Lyricist Muthamizh (Jigarthanda), Arunraja Kamaraj, Singers ‘Kavithai Gundar’ Emcee Jesz, Shakthi Sree Gopalan, Nikitha Gandhi (Ladio from ‘I’), Alphons Joseph(Aaromale) and Sound Engineer Karthik (Renowned Sound engineer for Hollywood game – Van Helsing).
“Eight characters are stuck up in an interview which is going on in a single room. With whom the interview goes on, what is the interview is all about and what is the impact, is the rest story of our ‘Dhayam’. Though the whole story of ‘Dhayam’ revolves in a single room, Audience will not feel bored not even in a single scene because of the racy screenplay. We have specially recorded our songs and background scores in Greece – Macedonia’s famous ‘F.A.M.E.S STUDIO’ which will make the audience to experience live sound. We have completed the whole shoot of the film and I am pretty sure that our ‘Dhayam’ will play dice in the genre of Horror films…” says Kannan, the Director of Dhayam in a confident tone.
