Official Announcement from Dil Raju on Vijay’s Varisu Box Office Collection

Actor Vijay’s Varisu, directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju was released on January 13, 2022. With the film getting positive response from audiences, the theater owners and distributors are extremely happy about the collections. It is now officially confirmed by the production house that the movie has grossed Rs. 275Crore worldwide and will be soon touching the 300-Cr mark.

The official statement from Dil Raju’s spokesperson states that even after 17 days in Hosur Lakshmi Devi theatre, ‘Varisu’ is running with housefull shows. The Pondicherry PVR theater is screening twice as many screens for ‘Vaarisu’ than any other film. So far Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ had the highest footfall in Trichy Mariam Theatre which has now been overtaken by Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Vaarisu’ and is now being enjoyed by a larger audience.

Similarly, Thiruniravur Vela Cinemas and Aranthangi VS Theater have also seen a large number of fans and audience for Varisu. At Erode Pallipalayam Jayalakshmi Cinemas theaters, the number of audience for Varisu has remained steady for the third week. On the 16 days of its release, the film has collected 193.94 crores in India alone, 10.01 million dollars abroad and a total of 275.69 crores worldwide. It is also expected that the collection of ‘Varisu’ will cross 300 crores soon.
