Actress Laila’s comeback after 16 years with Karthi’s movie

Actress Laila had a short span in the movie industry but grabbed everyone’s attention for her outstanding and naturalistic performances in all her movies. The actress later bid adieu to the industry after getting hitched. After 16 long years, she is now making her comeback in the industry with actor Karthi’s Sardar, directed by PS Mithran.

Initially, Simran was signed to play this role. However, as the project got delayed owing to the pandemic issues, she couldn’t afford to make it due to her commitments with other movies. Henceforth, the team got Laila onboard, which is a full-fledged character. She has already shot for 15 days and has lots more to get filmed. Raashi Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan are the other female lead roles in this movie, which is an intense action thriller.
