Sharvi’s  ‘Better Tomorrow’ censored with a U/A Certificate

The upcoming Tamil film “Better Tomorrow” by director Sharvi, who made a mark with the critically acclaimed movie Do Over, has completed its shooting and post-production. The film features Maanav and Gowri Gopan as the lead pair and has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board. The film is produced by Shailendra Shukla under the banner of Prerna Films International, with music by Kumarasamy Prabhakaran and cinematography by PG Vetrivel.

The executive producer is Saravanan and the PRO is Govindaraj. The editor is Eswaramoorthy and the international promotion is handled by Asjad Ahmed. The film also stars Boys Rajan, Jagdish DharmaRaj, Shailendra Shukla, RG Venkatesh, Saravanan, Divya Sivakumar, Roopa Jagan, Umashankar, Akshay Karthik, Aasha Rani, Bhuvana, Siva Subbramani, Harshan and Dhanush in supporting roles. The film is expected to hit the screens in the second half of this year. “Better Tomorrow” is a wake-up call for society, as it deals with the shocking true events of Janani, a young girl who falls prey to the MDMA party drug, and her brother Aravind, who tries to save her from the clutches of addiction.
