Their upcoming venture ‘Kaidhi’ starring Karthi in lead role is all set to hit screens shortly. During this juncture, a particular leading daily newspaper had published the news that filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj of ‘Maanagaram’ and ‘Kaidhi’ fame has narrated a script to Vijay and he could be probably directing Thalapathy 64.

On the other hand, the same paper had recently reported that he will be directing Suriya in a fantasy film. Although, it looks like a positive sign and really invigorating to see an aspiring filmmaker gain such immense popularity among the A-league, some sources cite that it’s a deliberate and impulsive attempt made by someone, so as to encash the run of ‘Kaidhi’.
