Is STR’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu getting released on this date?

Following the grand success of Maanaadu, actor Silambarasan TR is occupied with multiple projects. He is now close on the heels of completing his next movie titled ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’. The film is produced by Vels Film International and is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. Currently, the talkie portions have been completed, a long schedule of action sequences is being filmed. Hollywood stunt choreographer Lee Whitetaker is handling the action blockbuster. If everything is scheduled properly, the shooting will be completed before April 14, 2022, and the theatrical release is tentatively planned for May 27, 2022.

It is worth mentioning that Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal starring Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles, directed by Vignesh Shivan is gearing up for the same weekend release. June 3 will have Kamal Haasan’s Vikram hitting screens.
