Why Rajinikanth’s troll scene in Comali couldn’t be deleted overseas?

While the Indian version release of Comali had the Superstar Rajinikanth’s video removed, few who have watched the film in foreign countries are stating that it is not deleted there.

The issue broke out louder during the release of Comali trailer, where few people came forward and showed their resentment for disrespecting Rajinikanth. Later, the team managed to make an apology and delete the scene. Comali that was released yesterday had a visual replacement featuring Nanjil Sampath instead. However, some of the overseas audiences have started spreading the news that Rajinikanth’s visual remains undeleted. It is now creating a sensation on the social media pages.

However, there happens to be a justification, where the censor process in overseas is completely different from India. The censor in overseas has to be done few days before the theatrical release date. In case of any deletion or modification, it has to be censored again and then it will eventually have a delay on film’s release.
