P. S. Vinod is a renowned cinematographer who has worked in several Hindi and Telugu films. He is known for his versatile style and his ability to create stunning visuals that enhance the storytelling. He has collaborated with some of the most acclaimed directors in the industry, such as Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Sukumar and Trivikram Srinivas.

Vinod started his career as an assistant cameraman in the late 1990s and gradually rose to become an independent cinematographer. His first film as a director of photography was Shool (1999), a gritty crime drama that won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. He then worked on films like Company (2002), Black Friday (2004), Aamir (2008) and 3 Idiots (2009), which showcased his range and versatility.

Vinod made his debut in Telugu cinema with Arya (2004), a romantic comedy that became a blockbuster hit. He went on to work on several successful Telugu films, such as Jagadam (2007), Arya 2 (2009), 1: Nenokkadine (2014), S/O Satyamurthy (2015) and Rangasthalam (2018). He also worked on bilingual films like Eega (2012) and Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), which were appreciated for their technical excellence and visual effects.

Vinod has won several awards and accolades for his work, including the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematographer for 3 Idiots and Rangasthalam, the Nandi Award for Best Cinematographer for Arya and Eega, and the IIFA Utsavam Award for Best Cinematographer for Rangasthalam. He has also been nominated for the prestigious National Film Award for Best Cinematography for Black Friday and Baahubali: The Beginning.
