Anjaan Movie Review

Cast – Suriya, Samantha, Manoj Bajpai, Vidyut Jamwal, Rajpal Yadav, Dalip Tahil and more
Music – Yuvan Shankar Raja
Cinematographer – Santosh Sivan
Editing – Anthony
Direction – N. Lingusamy

Disappointment! Lingusamy spoiled the whole show. Surya as smart and stylish Raju bhai, no scope of performance, but he looks dashing. For the first time Samantha does a glamorous role in Tamil, treat for eyes, overacting in few scenes. Handsome Vidyut did justice to his role, Soori’s character is like an extended cameo, he succeeds in making us laugh. Manoj bajpai dummy, Brahmanandham scene is just for Telugu audience.

Music by Yuvan is the one and only plus for the film, superb BGM and decent songs. Raju bhai intro music is nice.’bang bang’, ‘Kadhal Aasai’ songs are worth to watch. Thanks to Santhosh sivan, beautiful cinematography and that’s what exactly we expect from him. Poor editing and worst lip sync. I believe only Surya speaks in Tamil and remaining all characters speaks dubbing Tamil. Its clearly visible, like watching a dubbed film.

The man who screwed the movie is definitely Dir.Lingusamy, one line story is fine, but where is the screenplay? very outdated screenplay. Not even a single scene is new or interesting. So called couple of twists are really funny and kiddish. Very lengthy movie. Nothing has worked in favor of the film! Better luck next time UTV and Lingu!!
