JIGARTHANDA – Pakka musical gangster flick with comedy! It’s a very different and bold attempt from Karthick subburaj, a totally different genre from his first film Pizza. Hero on title card is Siddharth, but the man who steels the show is Simha, what a rocking performance, Awesome screen presence, great body language and expressions. Awards are on the way. Siddharth has done his part well. Lakshmi menon has nothing much to do except to be the part of main turning point in the script. Lucky charm Karunakaran as comedian is apt.
Lot of side artists, all have delivered a neat performance. Cameo by Vijay Sethupathy is a surprise. Music by Santhosh Narayanan, perfect BGM for a musical gangster film. Total of 3 songs are in the film.’ puluthi..’ song choreo is superb. Simha’s dance boost the song to next level. Beautiful cinematography is another plus. The captain of the ship Karthick Subburaj, Brilliant script and screenplay, especially the way he differentiates the characters from 1st half to 2nd half is awesome, totally contrast. 1st half is total raw and 2nd is comical. Its a 2.50 hrs movie, though the screenplay is slow its still enjoyable. Notable scenes are idly scene,couple of murder scenes, interval block,hilarious 2nd half acting class scenes. Overall its Worth watch!!
