Engitta Modhathey Music Review
Following decent releases over the past couple of years, Engitta Modhathey is the next outing of Natarajan Subramaniam, which also features Parvathy Nair and Sanchitha Shetty Shetty in other lead characters. The film has musical score by Natarajan Sankaran with Yugabharathi penning lyrics.
It looks like an opening song that has every element to embrace mass heroism with the peck of folk and fast beat aspects. The proficient vocalism by Hariharasudan and lyrical lines by Yugabharathi make it sound good, but it’s not an immediate effect to grab our attention.
Onna Paathen Raasathi
Singers: D. Imman, Vandana Srinivasan
This is a well packaged song with commendable music and lyrics with Vandana Srinivasan overshadowing all other best aspects here. She intonates with smooth flowing syllables that keep the song more efficiently impressive. The fortepianos and guitar works on the accompaniment are appreciable as well.
Singers: V.V.Prasanna, Vandana Srinivasan
This is only cherry pick from the album that instantly manages to arrest your senses with mellifluous touch both music director and singers. The mild instrumentals in the backdrops are the greatest attribute that embellish the beautiful vocalisms of V.V. Prasanna and Vandana Srinivasan. Yugabharathi has rendered neat lyrics that help Natarajan Sankaran to settle well with appropriate music.
Oththa Ruva Pottu Vechu
Nothing really impressive to get the best from the output! It’s an unconventional number that has a best effort rendered by Prabhu. It slightly overdoes with the noisy musical accompaniments, but what keep it going at moderate impact is lyrical lines by Yugabharathi. But there is a sort of enthusiastic appeal by the music director, which might synch well on the screens if placed well with the situations.
Lifea Fightu Da
Singer: Nataraj Subramaniam
The album comes to an end with the number ‘Lifea Fightu Da’, which has the rendition by Nataraj Subramaniam, who has played the lead role in this movie. The fast beats with some trendy musical accompaniments features the philosophical lines by Yugabharathi. The song should definitely get its toast along with the visuals.
Overall, the album of ‘Engitta Modhathey’ looks promising in few aspects with couple of numbers getting to our attention at a best level and others might have the way by the visuals we see on the screens.
Good work by Natarajan Sankaran, but could have been better.
