Jawan Movie Review

Shahrukh Khan’s magnetising screen presence has been the most commendable element in his career, which keeps us glued to the screens, for the entire show, beyond the dualities of pros and cons. So what’s Jawan all about? It comes straight from the maker, who has delivered laudable commercial entertainers like Raja Rani, Bigil and Mersal?

Jawan is about a police officer named Azad (Shahrukh Khan), who heads a bunch of 5 women prisoners and settles score with a notorious miscreant (Vijay Sethupathi). The reason dates back 30 years in time. When everything looks like a routine revenge story, the surprise elements open up in the interval scene, which starts giving a double delight for the SRK fans.

As above mentioned, the film is a treat to all SRK fans, who feel every scene is worth watching for the tickets they bought. The initial moments in the film gives a superb experience, and then, the Interval point, is where they get to the peak of all celebrations. When it comes to others in the star, Nayanthara doesn’t have much to perform. All the other girls in the team have given what is required from their part. Vijay Sethupathi as usual delivers a same styled performance.

The musical score by Anirudh is appreciable, and the cinematography along with the editing works are quite good.

On the flip side, we might find the traces of some of the Atlee’s previous films, but when it comes to a film on whole, it doesn’t disappoint the SRK fans.

Overall, Jawan is a movie that will give a decent entertainment with some socio-commercial elements.
