Kathakali Songs Review

Hip hop tamizha Adhi’s latest outing Kathakali offering 4 numbers inclusive of two theme songs. Lets see the analysis of his Fourth movie album directed by pandiraj starring Vishal and catherine tresa.

1. Azhage
Singer : Hiphop Thamizha

Starting with mild tunes, vocal begins like it starting from middle nowhere and it progressive to typical Hiphop tune with his unique voice, where he catches a beautiful rhythm of azhage word. Whole song travel in a level without any ups and downs and his usual electronic pads remember us his previous number from aambala movie.

2. Erangi Vandhu
Singer : Hiphop Thamizha | Anthony Dassan

A folk song in a western beat which turn out to be the remix version of Madras to Madurai where you can relate even the tunes. Anthony’s “thaana” chorus are rhythmic where folk instruments are crowded throughout the song. On the whole it falls under the average number where nothing new to offer.

3. Kathakali Theme

Theme gives justice to the title with musical instruments used in the kathakali traditional art which then transforms to the racy number along with western beats with break in tunes and ends with a dubstep. Easily the catchy theme to repeat in playlist.

4. Kathakali whistle

Whistle version of the kathali main tune repeating at different themes in the background where the whistle slowly register at our mind and sing along at the end with the folk version.
