Romeo Juliet is all about the love story of Karthik and Aishwarya. Aishwarya misunderstood Karthik as a rich man and fell in love with him, who actually is a gym trainer. When she knows the truth, she breaks up with him and gets engaged to a millionaire Aravind. Karthik threatens Aishwarya to find him a beautiful girl or else he will stop her marriage. She finds another girl for Karthik and what happens at the end is the rest of the film.

Jayam Ravi as Karthik. He is getting better by each movie, He scores high in emotional scenes. Well settled performance. Looks handsome and dances well. Hansika as Aishwarya, looks gorgeous. She gets a meaty role and has done 100% justice. This is one of her career best finest performance. Its a visual treat to watch this Romeo Juliet pair on screen.

VTV Ganesh as Hero’s friend. He does the same role as he did in VTV, who supports hero and help him by giving suggestions. Vamsi’s characterization is super cool, as a millionaire Aravind the way he looks, walks and communicate is brilliant. Arya’s came doesn’t make any impact. Poonam Bajwa in extended guest role, she looks matured, doesn’t have much scope to perform.

D.Imman is another hero of the movie. Superb musical album. Album is already superhit. All 5 songs are catchy and picturized well. Film starts with the famous ‘Dandanakka..’ song where Ravi dances like T R. Followed by the melody ‘Thoovanam..’, And last song in First half is ‘Adiyey’. Second half with 2 songs, ‘Romeo Romeo’ and Vaikam Vijaylakshmi’s ‘Idarkuthane Aasaipattai’…

Cinematography by Sounder Rajan, he has done a good job. Night shots or the day shots, all looks beautiful. Visual treat to eyes. Dance choreography and costumes require special mentions. Hansika’s costumes are awesome. Film runs for 150 minutes. Editing is apt. ‘Dandanakka..’ song was filmed without TR’s dialogues.

Directed by Lakshman. The story has nothing new to offer. Its routine love story between two contrast people. He has presented the film with humour quotients and energetic scenes. Film starts with a fun filled mode, second half drags a bit and ends with a good note. Climax is satisfactory. Dialogues could have been more catchy. There are hardly countable fresh scenes.

Story stays in one circle and fails to proceed further, which gives a draggy feeling post interval. Romeo chases Juliet in 1st half and Juliet behind Romeo in 2nd half. Few highlights are the climax, Imman’s music, Dandanakka and Idarkuthane aasaipatai songs, few evergreen old Tamil movie scenes usage, Jayam Ravi-Hansika romantic scenes.
