When a track as such of this genre, comes Maestro Ilayaraja would surely opt for some versatile ones like SP Balasubramaniam or KJ Yesudas. Isaignani this time goes for someone completely out of this league and picks Sharath and the result? It’s an incredulous package of astounding work overall. The song starts off with something little old and later goes up with the right momentum and sways up with decent notes. MM Manasi is an unexpected inclusion in an Ilayaraja album, but the output is pretty groovy. Prasanna sleepwalks with his portions with a brilliant job.
The album gets to the peak of graph with this theme music, which completely defines what this album is all about. The track has all elements of invigorations and excitements.

The ballad kind of song usually gets embellished with the touch of Maestro Ilayaraja, which we had experienced in many films including Virumaandi. This track comes up as a dramatic storytelling genre and it will gain the intensity through the visuals.
As on whole, Thaara Thappattai has some commendable numbers by Maestro Ilayaraja with couple of songs instantly grabbing our attention. While rest of the songs will get to the best when seen with the visuals and it’s something more intriguing in Ilayaraja-Bala combination.
