Rishikanth

Rishikanth is an Indian actor who primarily works in Tamil cinema. Born on 21 September, he was raised in Thanjavur and later moved to Chennai to look for film work, without established industry connections. He began with the YouTube comedy group Temple Monkeys, making sketch videos, before moving into films and series in smaller supporting parts. He spent many years in supporting roles on larger productions, treating the wait as preparation rather than lost time. His screen presence is unshowy and close to everyday speech, shaped by comedy sketches and long supporting work rather than a star launch. He is often cast in ordinary characters, played in a natural, low-key manner.
