2 years back in time, the theatre owners and even the ones undertaking the Food & Beverage biz at theatres had their smiles sparkling up. It had been a very long time ever since they could see the crowds thronging up not just for the opening week, but for more than their expected time. The release of Dhanush’s 25th film ‘Velai Illa Pattadhaari’ wasn’t just a commercial hit as many box office traders and analysts would ennoble, but it had an emotional connect with audiences, exhibitors and distributors too. Many would acclaim it as a commercial entertainer, but journeying 2 years with the film and while turning back to see what actually drew me along with others towards it, I realized the essence of inspirational instances that it possessed. Every guy became a Raghuvaravan beyond the tag of ‘Engineering Candidates and Graduates’ and others could see the pain and joy involved in the journey that started from ‘Struggle’ and end up with destination called ‘Triumph’.

You might not have money or luxury to share, but sometimes a good friend is the strongest weapon you possess to win the battles of life. So much evident in this journey of Raghuvaran, this closely reflects many among ourselves, where we have a pal to stand beside us during the greatest struggles and toast to make on our victory…
5. BEING HONEST AND AVERAGE IS BEST THAN A RICH AND UNFAIR :
There are many situations in the film, where we get to see that the protagonist is tempted to give up his dreams and get compromised with deals. But he doesn’t give up at ease and feels that being honest is better than getting richer at the cost of grabbing others’ peace and life.
4. PATIENCE – WAITING FOR THE RIGHT MOMENT :
Being patient at times and not reacting immediately to the situations gives a firm base to understand the scenarios and take effective efforts. Rather than wasting the time on confronting with the baddie over the obstruction of colony, the protagonist manages to gather all through Social Networking sites and gets a huge team to complete the task.
3. HOPE IS THE BEST THING. IT NEVER FAILS :
When things and life fail at a point, having a blind hope that one day things will be better or at least the ones beside you hoping that you would make bigger in life never fails. In this film, at times when the protagonist is broken, you find someone to solace him with hopes, especially his mother.
2. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS DOESN’T MATTER, IT’S PASSION AND INTEREST :
When things are adverse at home, we find the protagonist conflicting with his parents saying that he wasn’t give a proper education at elite school, but something ordinary. But later we see him rising to a greater standard and that’s all because of his passion and interest towards the subject.
1. ORGAN DONATION IS GIFTING HEAVEN TO SOMEONE :
Much more than all that we have come across, this one was the actual base that carried the emotional bonding to a much greater degree. Organ donation episode, where the characters get connected and the goodness done by a mother bringing light into someone’s life that literally brightens up her very own son’s future… But it’s not a message that organ donating will bring back joy in materialistic gain, but it will prolong the joy and presence making one immortal even after they have departed from us.
