1) Oh Nanba

SPB number in Rajini movies always creates a buzz and it will be of usually a energetic lyrics about life quotes. Song starts with a 70’s feel and gear up with a fast beat and it is maintained till the end. Though the song is of normal length, it feel like rushed to end in 2 mins. Even the SPB’s thunderous voice gets override in the rap music and at the end you will never remember any lyrics except the initial lines. Despite all, still it has the uniqueness and the regular SPB-Rajini formula.

2) En Mannavva

Lyrics: Vairamuthu

The way song starts take you to decade ago and gives justice to the periodic theme. A light soft melody with traditonal breaks take the credit of the song and Vairamuthu classic lyrics needs some expertise to understand at few lines. Song rhythm at places like “Athivira.. Uyirai uyiral thoduveera” and carnatic chorous portions make you to sing along.

3) Indianne Vaa
Singers: A.R. Rahman
Lyrics: Vairamuthu

An inspirational song which is of same sort like karma veeran, a kind of advice/uplifting lyrics for the fellowships. Beats and scale shifting make you to shake your heads rhythmically and towards the end, beats are reverberating which is of rahman’s solitary specials. A kind of song which will tempt you to rise whenever you feel low.

4) Mona Gasolina
Singers: Mano, Neeti Mohan, Tanvi Shah
Lyrics: Madan Karky

A fast funny peppy number with a mix of many variety in music. A true rahman magic which you can get it when you hear at first time itself. Mano’s dynamics in vocals is eminent again in this song and the way he pronounce gasolina at different places is too enjoyable. Rahman experiment with techno chords and folk instruments really worked out well and come out as the best to least say. Instant addictable song.

5) Unmai Orunaal Vellum
Singers: Haricharan
Lyrics: Vairamuthu

An soulful song in the album with haricharan’s expressive vocals. A simple tune with same steady music from beginning to end with drums which gives more space for lyrics and vocals to project as the song theme demands for it. This song will be in your mind quite some time even after the song ends.
