Direction – Pa. Ranjith

A Perfect North chennai flavour!!! Finally Karthi is back to form after continuous 4 flops. His body language, dialogue delivery, toned physique, settled acting and expressions are really superb. Catherine Teresa the only character which doesnt suit to the role, she has performed really well but its hard to accept her as a north chennai girl.

Karthi’s friend Anbu and his wife’s performance were awesome!! Very good characterization by the director, let it be that mental johnny role or the dancers group!! As they shown in trailer, Wall plays a major role in the film. From starting to end story revolves around the wall.

Santhosh Narayanan delivers yet again the best, wonderful bgm and good songs! Best part is songs flow along with the film, no separate track for duet or dance. Cinematography (Murali) is on top notch in each and every frame. I believe this is his debut film.Editing could have been better, esspecially in 2nd half.

The Wall of the film is our ‘Attakathi’ director Pa.Ranjith , he delivers a beautiful screenplay though a predictable storyline. First half is superb, 2nd half is draggy. Interval block and post interval surprise scenes are clapworthy. Major plus is the reality feel. No overdose action or flying fights or foreign shoot . Fight sequence deserves a special mention. Wonderful work in the interval block and the climax.Only Negative thing is the 2nd half slow screenplay.
