Trisha Krishnan

Trisha Krishnan is an Indian actress who works primarily in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Born in Chennai on 4 May 1983, she studied at Sacred Heart Matriculation School, Church Park, and completed a BBA at Ethiraj College for Women while already working as a model. She first came into public view after winning Miss Chennai in 1999, then entered films with a small role before becoming a leading actress in the early 2000s. Her distinctive place in South Indian cinema is the length and range of that run. Few actresses have stayed a leading lady for more than two decades in both Tamil and Telugu films, moving from large commercial entertainers to quieter, character-driven roles without leaving the centre of the frame.
